For 25 years, I’ve worked with purpose-driven leaders to guide transformation that’s thoughtful, practical, and built to last.
I started my career at Accenture, managing large-scale change management efforts for agencies like DHS, TSA, and NASA. (Yes, that’s a lot of acronyms — and no, I don’t miss the security clearance paperwork.) Later, I helped build Eagle Hill Consulting from the ground up, shaping the firm’s structure and leading strategy and change work for government clients.
Today, through KLB Consulting, I partner directly with nonprofit boards and executive teams to align strategy, strengthen governance, and lead change that actually sticks. I bring structure, calm, and clarity to messy moments — especially when the stakes are high and the next step isn’t obvious.

Whether I’m facilitating a retreat, mapping a strategic plan, or helping a board rethink its structure, I ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and help leaders make confident, informed decisions.
I lead with clarity, consistency, and care — and believe humor, honesty, and deep listening go a long way in building trust and getting important things done.
Where I’ve Studied and Served
I hold a B.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond’s Jepson School and currently serve on the Executive Board of Advisors.
Today, I serve as Board President for the Little Sisters Fund (an international nonprofit focused on girls’ education) and as President of the Board of Trustees at Alexandria Country Day School.
Outside of Work
I’ve practiced yoga for over 20 years (still no handstand), am raising two kids and a puppy, and never leave home without a novel in my bag — ideally the kind that keeps me up too late. Long walks, great fiction, and good coffee are my version of a perfect reset.
